Moroccan Heritage began with a simple conviction: the beauty rituals practiced across Morocco for a thousand years were never improved upon, only forgotten. Ghassoul clay mined from the Atlas Mountains. Sidr leaf, used as a cleanser across North Africa long before anyone wrote down a formula. Rose water distilled from the damask roses that perfume the Valley of Roses each May. These aren't marketing ingredients. They're what generations of women actually used, and they worked.

We make every bar by hand in Quebec, in small batches, using the cold process method. Each one is cut, wrapped and labelled individually. That means slight variation from bar to bar — a swirl that lands differently, an edge that isn't quite square. We think that's the point.

What goes in

Olive oil and shea butter as the base. Moroccan clays — ghassoul, red clay, green clay, pink kaolin. Botanicals like henna, turmeric, jujube leaf, Himalayan salt, activated charcoal. Essential oils where they belong, and nothing at all where they don't: our Gentle Pink Clay bar is entirely fragrance free, made for sensitive skin and safe for babies.

No synthetic detergents. No fillers to bulk out the bar. Nothing on the label that we couldn't explain to you in a sentence.

Why 120g bars

A well-cured cold process bar lasts. Give it a dish that drains and keep it out of the direct stream of the shower, and a 120g bar will outlast the plastic bottle it replaced — without the bottle.

The name

Heritage isn't nostalgia. It's the part of the past that still earns its place. Sidr still cleanses. Ghassoul still draws oil from skin the way it did in the hammams of Fez. We didn't invent any of this. We just make it carefully, and put it in your hands.
